What have CMI's construction Lasers and Tasman Motorsport got to do with each other? Well CMI supplied them with one of our CX304R lasers to aid them in setting up various aspects of their V8 Supercars. As a result we got some hot laps around Phillip Island race track piloted by Greg Murphy and what an awsome experience it was too. All of us here at CMI would like to thank the Tasman guys and offer them the best of luck for the 2008 season.

CMI now has available video on demand demonstrating the PRO1000 laser. This is the first step to having our complete range of lasers being demonstrated in short video clips. This we believe at CMI will help you, our customer, pick the best laser for your application. The videos are played using Flash, so you will require the Adobe Flash Player which is a free download. We have kept the file size small so that those of you not on high speed broadband do not have to wait too long. However, unfortunately, for dial up customers download of these videos will take a number of minutes.

Some laser level manufacturers offer a 12 month warranty some a two year and some a three year to entice buyers to their products, however, the devil is in the detail. Some laser level brands offer a 3 year warranty that revert back to a 1 year warranty if you do not register the product on their web site, which is fine if you remember or happen read the clause in the instruction book but I guess many of us forget to do this. Some offer a two year warranty but only if you pay to get the laser serviced every six months.
CMI Lasers comes with a no fuss warranty, no registration required, no mandatory paid for service. The CX300 series (CX302R, CX303R and CX304R) can be used as conventional multi line cross hair laser levels indoors but with the laser pulsing technology can be used outdoor with hand held or staff mounted receivers supplied. These self levelling laser levels are ideal for site squaring for construction and building as well as general leveling use such as landscaping patios, decking and pagolas. First of all we have the NEW LP102 pocket sized cross hair laser, it may be small but it is robust and accurate. Next we have the NEW CX190 which looks alot like the previous model but can now be used outside with the optional electronic receiver. And finally after many years of good service the FW400 has been replaced by the FW500 providing the same features in a similar pocket sized unit but with more refined and robust construction.
