We at Redback lasers have noticed more and more of you visiting our site with your iphone and although most of the content is available to you, upt to now, video was not. That has now changed all Redback laser Level videos are now available in iphone MP4 format as well, at the bottom off each product item page there are links to .pdf downloads (instructions, brochure) next to those is now a link to iphone video click there and video will be streamed to your iphone. Anyone who clicks on that link from PC or Mac will get a streamed .mov video assuming Quicktime is loaded.

THE FIRST LI-ION POWERED LASER LEVEL - DECEMBER 2009

Redback lasers EM623 earthmovers laser level comes with Li-Ion technology this means full power is maintained until battery is discharged, there is no battery memory effect, the battery maintains charge when not in use and can be toped up at any time. The Li-Ion pack can last for up to 40 hours, but if you do get caught out the EM623 does come with a "AA" battery pack so you can always finish your job.

Other features of this unit include ultra heavy duty construction, with cast metal prism housing and thick steel chassis. The EM623 has dual grade capability, Quadrant beam shielding which is the ability to turn laser output off 1,2 or 3 quadrants of angle thus allowing you to use multiple lasers on site without getting multiple readings on receivers. The EM623 is highly accurate with 1.5mm at 20m tolerance has an anti vibration mode when used near vibrating rollers etc and comes complete with heavy duty receiver and long range remote control. WANT A ROTATING LASER LEVEL AND A LINE LASER BUT DONT WANT TO BUY 2? - DECEMBER 2009

Redback lasers CXR880 is the new Hybrid featuring both rotating laser and outdoor line lasers it is truely an all trades laser it does the lot.

The rotating laser features dual grade capability, high working range 400m diameter and scan modes. The line lasers feature 4 vertical lines all at 90 degrees to each other, plumb up and down and outdoor mode. The CXR880 comes with a combination rotating and line Receiver, simply switch between each, the receiver can pick up the pulsed lines up to 60m away making site square and layout a breeze. So the CXR880 does the lot from levelling the block, grading the landscape, laying out and squaring the slab, aligning the frame, fitting out the plaster, installing the kitchen and bathrooms it does the lot and much more.

            

INTRODUCING GREEN BEAM ROTATING LASER LEVELS - NOVEMBER 2009

Redback Lasers are proud to introduce two new green beam automatic self levelling rotating laser level the ARL516G and EGL624G. Why green beam, well the idea is that when using these lasers indoors visably the laser line projected onto a surface either in rotation mode or scan modes appears alot brighter up to 4x infact than the traditional red beam veriety. So for indoor applications where rotating lasers are desired such as suspended ceilings the choice is simple go green.

The key differences between the two models is that the EGL624G laser level has grade functionality where as the ARL516G level does not. Both these lasers have the high powered class IIIr laser diode compared to the regular class II. (Note: More stringent OHS restrictions on the class IIIr lasers, see relevent regulations)
